MAC Sounds Like Noise - Review, Photos and Swatches

Make some noise with this loudmouth orange...

MAC Sounds Like Noise Lipstick is described as a "bright true orange matte". It is a bright, warm-toned orange with a hint of a red and it is a mostly matte; it has a slight satin finish. Most orange lipsticks that I have seen have a red undertone whereas this lipstick is very much a true orange.

The finish is slightly less matte than most shades in this formula from MAC, but sadly amplifies lip texture just as much. I recommend wearing a balm underneath and/or wearing a similar coloured or clear gloss over top of this. I have found that alone, with no balm, liner etc, this wears for around 4-6 hours with some fading after 5 hours.
