MAC Daydreaming - Review, Photos and Swatches

Daydreaming, daydreaming all the time...

MAC Daydreaming Eyeshadow is described as a "frosted mid-tone coral, veluxe parl." It is a bright, coral red with a slight warm orange undertone and a frosted sheen. This eyeshadow has a slight raspberry look to it swatched and also in the pan.

If you are looking for dupes you may want to try...
  • Urban Decay Free Love - Lighter, more golden sheen
  • MAC Spicy Smoke - Darker, redder (most similar when blended out)

Daydreaming had good colour payoff and blended out smoothly. When blended out, the eyeshadow was a warm, slightly red-toned orange. The texture was slightly dryer and not as buttery as some of the other veluxe pearl eyeshadows from MAC. I found that this eyeshadow lasted a good eight hours with very little fading, creasing appeared at ten hours.

(As this shade is unusual, I recommend wearing it as Hayley does in the collection promotional material; blended across the lid and into the crease with dramatic black winged gel eyeliner. You can see this in my collection overview post)

This eyeshadow is available now for £12/$15 from maccosmetics.com but is now sold out on maccosmetics.co.uk
